Fire web service only when text was changed

Hi,
In order to avoid unnecessary calls to the web service
How can I make it call the web service only when the textbox data is really changed
currently it fires on each entry to the textbox (while it is not empty)

Hi Nir,
There is a "delay" property you can set.
But the suggesstions list shows every time the field recieves focus.
You can use OnClientPopulating event to stop the server call.

If I can prevent the call in OnClientPopulating it's even better .
Do you have a reference of the control ?
